Foreign Exchange

Sometimes referred to as currency arbitrage or simply “forex”, this is the largest and most liquid market in the world. Each trading day, it turns over more than USD$3 trillion.

Fixed Income

Fixed income encompasses investments that yield a regular (or fixed) return.

Bonds are, to all intents and purposes, loans packaged in the form of a security: a bond “issuer” is effectively the borrower, the “bond holder” is tantamount to the lender, and the “coupon” is akin to the interest.

Bonds can be issued by a number of organizations including municipal authorities and large companies as well as sovereign governments.
